The property Baggy Lodge, Moor Lane, Croyde, EX 33 1PA – is owned by Baggy Lodge Ltd (Co Registration No 13097523 – registered address Unit F, Whiteacres, Cambridge Road, Whetstone, Leicestershire LE8 6ZG) from now on called Baggy’s or Baggy.
The renter is the individual who pays the booking deposit and/or the final payment, from now on called the Renter or Renters.
Baggy’s is a house and studio, a cafe and a surf school.
Baggy’s has some of the best views of Croyde Bay and is a wonderful place to stay, if you want a true surfing lifestyle with some extra home comforts.
Sharing the property is the best rated surf school in the area, Surfing Croyde Bay, and a great café serving simple food, drink (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic) and which hosts different entertainment some weekend evenings.
There are three rooms for rent at Baggy’s;
Baggy Lodge has three bedrooms: an ensuite double room with a sofa bed suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and two child under 12, an ensuite double room with a sofa bed suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and one child under 12 and an ensuite double room suitable for a maximum of 2 adults.
Baggys Studio (an ensuite double room with a sofa bed) suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and two children under 12.
All rooms have a kettle, cups, tea and a Nespresso Coffee machine and Milk frother in the kitchen.
All rooms have an ensuite wet room with shower, loo, sink and towel rail
Baggy Lodge and Baggys Studio can be rented separately or together. They both have cooking facilities.
When renting Baggy Lodge there is exclusive use of :
– internal lounge/TV area. It comes with a four seater sofa, a double sofa and a leather chair. The TV is connected to Apple TV. There is a small kitchen in the rear of the lounge.
– an outdoor courtyard, with outdoor seating and a table
When renting Baggys Studio, which includes a small cooking area there is exclusive use of:
– a summer house in the garden, at the rear of the building (walk around the cafe and the back of the building for access). There is TV connected to Apple TV and wifi in the summer house.
For all guests
– There are communal areas in the gardens for use by all the guests – this includes the outdoor BBQ area and the seating/tables on the patio areas in the garden. Please clean the BBQ after use, if not we have to charge an extra £25.

Important Booking Information
You must be over 18 to make a booking at Baggy’s and the individual paying for the booking is responsible for the conduct of the other guests in their group.
All Renters must have a responsible individual who is over eighteen as part of their group and who is responsible for the conduct of the group
Renters must respect other guests on the property, the Surf School, Café and our neighbours who we enjoy a good harmonious relationship with.
Late night parties (after 10.30pm) will not be tolerated.
Should the conduct of any guests in a group be unacceptable in any way, as determined at the sole discretion of Baggy’s, then Baggy’s has the right the terminate the rental of the room(s) without notice or refund of any of the monies received.
It would be normal for Baggy’s to discuss with the Renter the conduct of the group before terminating the agreement – but this is not a requirement where the conduct is deemed so offensive as to necessitate immediate termination – this immediate termination is at the sole determination of Baggy’s.
Bookings for room(s) are only confirmed when the deposit payment has been made and received into the Baggy’s bank account, together with either an email received from Baggy’s confirming the rental or a telephone conversation confirming the same.
Deposits (which are 50% of the room(s) fee) are only refundable after the first 48 hours of a booking. After that they are non-refundable.
Final payment for the room(s) must be made four weeks before arrival (taken as the first day of your booking) – failure to meet this payment date means your rooms can be resold without recourse.
In the event that Baggy’s are unable to meet your room booking, once full payment has been made, then you will received a full refund within five working days of being informed. There is no recourse for loss, or consequential loss whatsoever as a result of Baggy’s being unavailable.
Should a guest need to cancel their reservation in the four weeks prior to arrival and in the circumstances where full payment has been made, then Baggy’s will try and resell the space for the same price it was purchased for. If Baggy’s is able to resell the space, then a full refund (less £200 administration fee) will be given to the original Renter, once the new Renter has completed their stay. If Baggy’s is unable to resell the space then there will be no refund to the original Renter and the original Renters full payment will remain the property of Baggy’s.
If deposit and final payment are made together (generally when a booking is made within four weeks of the Renters arrival date) then complete cancellation is available for 48 hours. After that time there is no refund unless an alternative Renter takes the full booking. Refund in these circumstances is five days after the new Renter has completed their stay and a £200 administration fee will be taken prior to the refund.
The later notice is given on any cancellation the less chance there is of Baggy’s being able to re-rent the room(s). Baggy’s has no obligation for its performance in trying to re-rent any room(s).
Well behaved dogs are welcome, if they travel with their own bed and don’t get on the furniture. There is an extra cleaning charge. Please ensure all poohs are picked up!
